Season 1 Aftermath Recaps

Session 10

• After completing the Sunless Citadel, the group shot some B-Roll footage and finished up their journey - returning to the capital of Babylon.
• The group had 30 days worth of downtime to play with and each pursued different things...
• Nimue sought to increase her fame and become more of a public dilettante. She utilized Aurora's producer (Maximilian X) to arrange a swimsuit photo shoot to appear in an interview in a popular magazine. 
• Reio pursued information on the Forge of Fury in hopes of getting insight into the next dungeon the group would be diving. Though he made little progress in it, he also sought out more occult information regarding his curse. He also visited some hengeyokai caravans - homesick for his people.
• Gremlin made several appearances for her fans and conducted several events including battlemech fights. She also briefly spent some time with an old gang that she used to run with to pickup on a few skills she had grown rusty on - in hopes of using them in the dungeons going forward.
• Setis spent her entire downtime learning and experiencing what the city had to offer. She conducted people watching sessions throughout every Sector within Babylon. Much to her dismay, Lukas Baer (ROGUE Agent) kept tabs and followed her around. Setis also spent time learning about the deity the Reaper and the Dragon.
• Selks visited several churches belonging to the Reaper in order to learn more about the God that had now touched his life. Additionally, he sought out his Gomez Cartel contact (Mia) and did some work for her testing the quality of some narcotics being exchanged. Mia gave her mouse familiar to Selks to keep him safe in his next dungeon and requested that he bring any weapons and information related to the smith Durgedin as a prize/trophy to give the cartels.
• Aurora and her band HEX played a charity concert to raise funds for Mana Radiation Poisoning victims. She also sought out Kate Knight (a fey soothsayer) and Death Otter (an underground freediver) to provide her more information on the dragon Ashardalon. The lead that she got was to find the Son of the Dragon, the Ghost of Raske, a dragonborn named Nerva.
• Season 1 of Dungeon Divers was critically acclaimed; the party becoming stars overnight (if they weren't already from their previous professions). 
• During the promotion of the show, Rashida contacted the group to meet at a corporate chain bar called S1-G1-L. Everyone accepted the invitation and arrived at the bar; shooting pool, drinking, and having a good time.
• Outside the bar, the group encountered an unnamed woman (with a cybernetic arm) handing out religious pamphlets for the Divinity of the Machine. Some of the group briefly spoke with her.
• The group was introduced to the bartender: Rebbeca. A friend of Rashida and apparently Setis (a bigger surprise for that one). 
• Knowing her stuff, she was able to find a unique drink that accommodated everyone's tastes and style. 
• In the background, the news played...
• A panel discussion was going on about the pros and cons of the rise of vigilante activity - citing people like Managirl and the Masked Murderer. The panel included several professors and scholars from MAGE along with the head of ROGUE (Gwen Morrison) and KNIGHT (Kolt Schmidt).
• After some rest and relaxation, Rashida revealed the real reason they were all here. She took the group into a backroom...
• Having leveraged the contacts of the Storyteller, Rashida provided four contacts the group could use to acquire new equipment and items, as well as trade their own as the trade for magical relics found in old dungeons was definitely, definitely blackmarket type stuff.
• The four were...
• Doctor Vesper Klein, aka "The Good Doctor". An exiled 'noble' scientist from Genesis, she went underground to pursue her own research without the fear of Genesis using her research for their own gains. She serves as a medical expert for Runners these days. Rumored to house powerful individuals in a high tech prison of her own design called TRAJAN.
• Rabbit, a junker made up more of cybernetic and prosthetic than flesh and blood at this point. A young mechanical genius who knew how to get his hands on and modify any piece of tech out there.
• Nikolas, a tall man of otherworldly origin, he is a famous figure throughout old lore and stories as being a magical merchant. Primarily interested in the invention and restoration of old and new magic alike. 
• Rankle, a short man of otherworldly origin, he is an infamous figure throughout old lore and stories as being a shrewd merchant... however, he offers good deals on his wares, if only because he knows he'll probably be able to reclaim them back someday.
• The group spoke to their experts. Trades were made. Items purchased. Everyone for the most part got something they wanted or could use. So much for saving their riches from the show, huh?
• Rashida revealed that the Storyteller had arranged for the Divers to make an appearance at Bullete's Brawl to promote Season 2 which would be coming out soon...

Session 11

• Leaving the S1-G1-L bar, the group boarded their tour bus to head to Bulette's Brawl.
• Feeling their current attire was a little inappropriate for a gathering, Ashley dipped into the wardrobe and offered fancy outfits to those who wanted them.
• The crowd was uproarious and offered equal praise to some fan favorites (Gremlin) while hurling insults at some not-so-favorites (Selks). 
• Rashida approached Johnny Fire, the head of Brawl Security, and made the arrangements for the group to enter. As everyone headed to the VIP area, the plan for the night was...
• Aurora and her band HEX to perform.
• Gremlin to enter into a grudge match against her rival, a fellow battle mech pilot named NPC. 
• Once in the circular VIP lounge, the group split up...
• Aurora and Nimue went to find Maximilian X, the music producer and her band mates. It was a well received reunion by all! Together, they caught up and planned what song they would be playing tonight. 
• Aurora met her new 'assistant' Haidra, a red-haired shy and misunderstood young woman.
• Reio and Setis approached a strange armadillo like giant monstrous land shark. An actual bulette! There, they met the owner of the Brawl, Ilneval. One of the few half-orcs around, his motivations are simple. Money, power, and honoring the Old Ways. He managed to convince the rest of the group that they could join Gremlin's fight, if they convinced Selks to participate. Ilneval likely had a grudge against the gnome for being 'responsible' for the death of the famous fighter Nolan King.
• Selks' saw a nearby halfling woman (Elisa Vargas, the coyote leader of the Vargas Cartel) enjoying a fight. He had tried to sneak away, but catching sight of him she pulled him into her little circle of partying and gave him some fanfare. Elisa had Selks sign his autograph for her.
• The group made preparations for their concert and their fight..

Session 12

• The majority of the group began getting ready in the locker room.
• Holden, the off-putting producer, introduced the group to their new companion for Season 2 of Dungeon Divers: Calubris Senai. A tall and lean humanoid dragonborn, he has a noble air about him and prefers sword and shield. He was a minor celebrity on several survival type shows and contests. 
• The group exchanged introductions with each other...

• On the way to the arena, the group ran into a strange, red-haired fan. 
• The woman eyed Selks almost hostilely, but only for a bit as she then took on an amicable demeanor and asked for an autograph to be made out to 'Heather'.

• Out at the arena, the group met their opponents...
• NPC, a loud mouth asshole who likes to get drunk and stir up shit. He and Gremlin like to go back and forth on social media. 
• Dante the Inferno, a humanoid dragonborn who possessed exceptional elemental fire magic. 
• Abasi the Liberator, a drow hunter who is believed to be a black ops assassin on a side.
• Ran the Streetrat, a hengeyokai rat who prefers hit and run tactics. 
• The Attendant, a human freediver who serves the Machine God faith.

• Aurora and Nimue with the band HEX went on stage and they went into a Battle of Bands contest with THE BARBARIANS! A popular rock band that preferred the Old Days type style. This all occurred during the battle between the Divers and their foes.

• The Divers would eventually be victorious, although there was some fallout...
• Calubris learned that Dante believes their is a dragon lurking under Babylon. Dante also shared the name 'Nerva'. 
• Selks learned that Abasi (the drow) had been trying to kill him during the battle - a hit?
• Reio was approached after the fight by Sofia Weber, the head of MAGE who wanted to congratulate him on his recent success. It was a more sarcastic gesture, and perhaps one that even held a threat and warning in it.
